Melacca Food Trip

Finally my family reach here for the convocation of my dearest sister...unfortunately I can't attend for it coz I having my class..additional it's too far and the traffic jams for the crowded car~

stay 1 night at Grand Season Hotel with them and the next day went breakfast at YUT KEE restaurant Dang Wangi...well.. this traditional kopitiam fare & variety of Hainanese food under one roof in Selangor/KL..

Yum YUm.Still, Yut Kee is institutional, and rarely would one see the humble coffee shop empty during breakfast or lunch hours. The queue is pretty epic. Maybe that day we went during weekdays, there are fewer ppl but there got tourists come for the roti babi--

 after breakfast, departure to Melacca ...wao!!!! while reached there, we check in at The Baba House Hotel..The Baba House Hotel was renovated from four units of colonial shop houses with an interior that opens into a courtyard that provides a sheltered and cosy outdoor environment. Its design is taken from rich Chinese Baroque and Palladian Styles. The boutique hotel is also heavily embellished with hardwood furniture, made of Chinese, Victorian and Dutch design that are intricately painted with cherry blossoms and birds.

lunch with the famous food of the Melacca chicken rice ball....There are lot of the chicken rice ball eater but my sis strongly recommend 和记鸡饭粒~

Mummy dislike the ball rice, she prefer normal rice more~~Zzz...

三叔公is the most famous local food product brand...there was a big shop locate at the corner of jonker street....erm....brought lot of things there....

Najede, quite famous during the blog walking...majority of the ppl will visit this cake shop when vacation at melacca...

unfortunately the original taste sold out...we just can try for another flavor..

Mum still able to reach unlike my sis just stay downward..

dinner with the melacca satay celok..I had visit this restaurant for the last visit Melacca...

there are many kinds of the foods~

take a walk at the side of melacca river...nice view during the night with the colorful light.

breakfast at the hotel during the next morning, i tough that was a nyonya's breakfast，however serve with the western breakfast...the taste count ok but not my love....

take a snack b4 go for lunch....this eater is quite famous ad almost queue up during the weekend..

luckily it's weekday so free of seat....

baba laksa and nyonya laksa...

mixed up the taste is better and called laksa kahwin~

yup..lunch moment again....went for the original nyonya restaurant name Makko near the dataran mall...

get some drink after lunch???miss the coconut shake a lot..

klebang coconut shake is the original of melacca...

finally back to KL....they continuous back to Kedah....
